A Mixed Chicana who seeks to create a constellation of interdisciplinary concepts and frameworks in her research and pedagogy. Currently
- teaching:
- a themed Composition I course based on cultural storytelling spaces to explore identity, positionality, embodiment, oral history, and testimonio
- a themed Composition II course based on digital game design and development to create alternative and collaborative writing spaces for students
- a themed Composition I course based on cultural storytelling spaces to explore identity, positionality, embodiment, oral history, and testimonio
- researching:
- digital game trauma narratives and the potential of indie games for storytelling positive trauma stories
- oral histories/stories of mixed Chicanas to showcase their varied embodied experiences for those within and outside the community to create an online, public archive
